Everyone loves a slightly-soppy-sad-song from time to time.
This latest from Cardiff’s Safari Gold reminds me of some of the somber, reflective moments of The 1975’s early EPs (we’re talking fallingforyou and Me), in it’s fragility and raw honesty and it’s unashamed Eno inspiration. Atmospheric and lyrically sincere, Honey is a stunning example of how the most seemingly simplistic compositions can be the most powerful. Check it out below.
