We are very proud, and unbelievably excited, to announce that we’re joining forces with our good friends Disco Naivete and Unrecorded to present an official CMJ showcase at this year’s CMJ Festival.
After the resounding success of our SXSW party back in March, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to further our ‘Dark Paradise’ live incarnation, and on this occasion we have Unrecorded on our side to provide a strong grounding in the US. Unrecorded is the new face of Listen Before You Buy, and CMJ will see their official unveiling in their new blog attire. As to facilitate this change, LBYB have a fund raising objective in place, and you can read more about it here.
We’re going to be basing ourselves in the legendary Pianos Bar, a venue known across New York for it’s presentation of fresh and exciting music, and a stalwart in the CMJ venue shortlist. This event will be free entry to CMJ badge holders, and $10 on the door to general public.
What’s more, we have the venue from 8pm – 4am, so expect not only a bill of fantastic live bands, but an after party of DJs that includes rising electronic artist Duologue plus more names to be announced.
