It was only a week ago that Eaves uploaded his latest heart-achingly beautiful demo, entitled ‘Spin’, and today he has given us another gem in the shape of ‘Timber’.
Notably different in it’s style to ‘Spin’, ‘Timber’ thrusts Eaves further into the forefront, or rather strips back any supportive roles, and allows the listener a truly intimate view into Eaves’ songwriting. Part serenade, part melancholic outcry, there is a strong indication in this latest effort that a step into a more mainstream audience is not only not too far away, but can be made with a confident motion.
